It was a great hotel! Super clean, staff was welcoming, and bed was comfy. Paid 1/2 as much as most other hotels in this hotel's quality range.

The comfortable, well-equipped room. The friendly, helpful staff. The pleasant breakfast room and food choices. The wide choices of near-by restaurants.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in for an incredibly low price. It had every amenity one could need. We could not fault anything about the hotels public areas or our room. The breakfast was fantastic, with so much variety. We felt as if we were in a 4 instar hotel for a 2 star price.

The only negative we could possibly find with this fantastic hotel is that there is obviously a bad staff shortage, as we waited in the foyer for 45 minutes before a staff member appeared. There was a note on the counter stating that the person was performing other duties around the hotel, and asking us to ring the hotel. We rang the hotel constantly during that time, but the phone was never answered. It is such a shame that there is not a person to answer the phone and check people in, as they must be missing out on a lot of phone bookings. We never sighted a single staff member either during breakfast or when we checked out. It was completely staff free from what we saw - yet impeccably clean and perfect in every way. Please employ more staff, as this lovely hotel must be missing out on a lot of potential bookings.

The price was right The reception staff was good.

The building was under renovation which it badly needed but we were not told that by Booked.net which we feel we should have been prior to booking. The housekeeping staff did not clean our room after the first day even though we had the tag on the door to do so. The front desk had to supply us with towels etc. The pool was closed. This property was classed as a 2 star by their own standard but not by Booked.net.

It was very clean and the staff was friendly. We were there on the weekend of the fall time change and they were nice enough to get breakfast out earlier than the designated 7am as some of us were up and ready. Cottage cheese is not often on small breakfast buffets and as low carb folks, we appreciated it. The room was not cramped and the heat/AC both worked quickly(this time of year in NM, you may need both, we needed AC in the afternoon and heat in the early morning.).

We aren't pool people so we didn't care but the pool was not operational and looked as if it had not been for some time. The shower in our room did not work well (great water pressure but when I pulled up the handle to go from tub to shower, only a trickle came out of the head.) I'm sure they would have moved us if we had noticed the night before but we didn't try the shower until the morning and we were leaving. They were very apologetic at the desk.

Staff was very friendly. Our room was spacious and very clean for an old hotel. Didn't have to cross any busy streets to get to Applebees, Taco Bell or Golden Corral. Very quiet hotel. Everything in our room was in good working condition.

Beds were a little too hard for my taste and really didn't like the "old" smell but a couple of Febreze car vent clips took care of that problem.

Great value for money, much better comfort than a "Motel 6" style motel. Very good breakfast.

The lady who manages the place was excellent, friendly, and always looking to help and make our stay enjoyable. Large and convenient rooms. Good location off the main road. Excellent continental (and healthy) breakfast buffet with everything you can think of. Would recommend to everybody. Great value too.

Room service could have been better (two times within one week our room was not or not completely serviced). Carpets and bathrooms need improvements too.
